A Special Culture and Arts Gathering from TÜTAV: Ulu Ozanlar ve Kırk Saz

The Promotion Foundation of Turkey (TÜTAV) is bringing the deep heritage of Turkish folk music and the ozan tradition to the stage with a special project. “Ulu Ozanlar ve Kırk Saz” will meet audiences on 3 October at CSO Ada Ankara, Ziraat Bankası Main Stage.

The evening aims to keep alive Anatolia’s musical culture, passed down from generation to generation for centuries, and to share it with a wide audience. Cengiz Özkan, Muharrem Temiz, Cem Çelebi, Ayfer Vardar, and İlke Türkdoğan will perform, accompanied by 40 bağlamas.

Bringing together leading interpreters of Turkish folk music on one stage, the project will reintroduce works that have reached us from Anatolia’s ozans, carried by the powerful voice of the bağlama.

Tickets are available via Biletinial.
